Our Story
From A Single Kitchen To A Hospitality Powerhouse
IHMT began in 1999 with one training kitchen, 40 students and a bold belief: that India's hospitality industry deserved home-grown, world-class professionals.
Today we are a NAAC 'A+' accredited institute with 2,500+ students, 80+ faculty and alumni leading hotels and travel companies in 40+ countries. What hasn't changed is our obsession with hands-on learning and our personal investment in every student.
Our 12-acre campus in Bengaluru now hosts one of the country's few on-campus training hotels, eight industry-grade kitchens and a placement record that speaks for itself.
